The centre offers accommodation, and halls for conferences to the public at a fee. While commissioning the centre, President Jonathan said he thanked God that he witnessed the building of the centre from start to end. He added that with unity of purpose, the body of Christ can achieve greater things. “I urge Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of unity and with it nothing can stop us from reaching greater heights.” “I believe this centre will be used to re-orientate and re- focus us.” President Jonathan however warned that it will not be good if the centre cannot generate income for its maintenance. “We hope we will be able to generate enough to maintain this centre.” The President also commended CAN for the saving cost on the building, he said the cost of the building would have been three times the amount CAN used if it was built by the government.
Also speaking at the commissioning, the President of CAN, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor said they were able to save cost on the building because some engineers worked for free.
