Former Adamawa State Governor, Admiral Murtala Nyako (retd.)
The
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has continued the
interrogation of a former Adamawa governor, Admiral Murtala Nyako
(retd.).
Nyako surrendered himself to the commission on Monday and was grilled by operatives for eight hours and thirty minutes.
Nyako who arrived the EFCC headquarters
on Monday by 10am was asked to go after a gruelling process of
interrogation that was suspended around 6.30pm.
However, the commission resumed the interrogation on Tuesday with Nyako’s arrival at the EFCC at 10am.
The
Head of Media and Publicity of the EFCC, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, told our
correspondent on the telephone that the former governor was at the EFCC
on Tuesday.
He said, “I can confirm that Nyako is at the commission.”
Investigation revealed that Nyako was grilled for another eight hours and thirty minutes on Tuesday.
