The Independent National Electoral Commission has scheduled a three-day post election meeting/retreat for Electoral Officers, Administrative Secretaries and Resident Electoral Commissioners.
A statement signed by the Director of Commission’s Secretariat, I.A. Gali, in Abuja on Thursday, said the three-day retreat will start with a meeting with Electoral Officers on Monday, June 15, 2015, scheduled to hold at NAF Conference Hall, Kado District, Abuja.
He added that the the meeting/retreat for Administrative Secretaries and Resident Electoral Commissioners will hold on Wednesday, 17th and Thursday 18th June, 2015 respectively at Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital.
Also, Gali added that the Commission is to validate the 2015 Election Report on Monday, June 15, 2015.
The validation, he said, would be a prelude to the Report’s printing and presentation on Monday June 29, 2015.
The INEC Chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega, on Wednesday, April 22, inaugurated a Committee headed by Dr. Chris O. Iyimoga to author the 2015 Election Report.
