Supporters seek divine help for Saraki’s Senate Presidency bid

Supporters of the Chairman, Senate Committee on Ecology and Environment, Dr. Bukola Saraki, on Monday embarked on prayers for the actualisation of Saraki’s ambition to be the President of the 8th Senate.
The supporters are mainly from Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Chief Missioner of Al-Fathiu Quareeb Society of Nigeria in Asa LGA,  Ustaz Yahaya Babatunde, described Saraki as a politician, who devoted his endowment towards serving humanity.
He said  the nation would benefit greatly from his wealth of experience and  wisdom if Saraki emerges the Senate President.
Chief Imam of Afon, Alhaji Nurudeen Ayodele, then led other Islamic scholars in a prayer session for the emergence of  Saraki as the Senate President; the success of Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed; Mr Razak Atunwa and other All Progressives Congress elected officials.
A former member of the Kwara State House of Assembly,  Alhaji Mahmud Baba-Ba’ako, said Saraki’s enormous contributions to the success of the APC eminently qualified him for the Senate Presidency.
